Important Information
Twilio WhatsApp Sandbox

If using Twilio's WhatsApp Sandbox for testing:

  1. Recipients must first join your sandbox by sending a code to the Twilio WhatsApp number
  2. The sandbox number is typically: +1 415 523 8886
  3. Find your join code in the Twilio Console under Messaging → Try it out → Send a WhatsApp message

Message Templates

For production WhatsApp Business API, you must use pre-approved message templates. The sandbox allows free-form messages for testing.
